Joseph Capodiferro, Chair - Republican

Joseph Capodiferro is a third generation Farmington resident. He currently lives with his wife Kim and their two children Nathan and Cooper, who attend Farmington schools. Joe is also a third generation police officer for the Town. He retired in 2016 after 26 years of service to Farmington.  During his time at the police department he served as the K-9 Officer, working side by side with K-9 Drak. In addition to working as a police officer, Joe has been a real estate agent since 2003 for New England Realty Advisors. His prior community service includes Farmington Community Chest, UNICO, and being a chauffeur to his two children. 

Patti Boye-Williams, Democrat - Second District

Patti Boye-Williams has lived in Farmington with her husband, Chad Williams, and two daughters, Grace and Kate, since 2011. She previously served on the Town Council from 2018-2020 and on the Farmington Board of Education from 2022-2023. Patti is the former chair of the Green Efforts and Land Acquisition Committees. Between her roles on the Town Council and Board of Education, Patti was a field director for Comprehensive FHS and she currently serves as a member of the board of directors for the Farmington Land Trust. Patti is an environmental lawyer and regularly advises small businesses, municipalities, and other clients on environmental compliance, waste management, and property acquisitions.

Brian Connolly, Democrat- First District

Brian F. X. Connolly and his wife Denise have lived in Farmington since 1997. They have two daughters, Caitlin and Shannon, who graduated from the Farmington public school system. Brian has been an avid civic volunteer and community leader. He was a member of the Farmington Economic Development Commission since 2008. He also served on the Farmington Village Center Committee and the Batterson Park Development Joint Advisory Committee. His commitments to local organizations highlight his interest in improving quality of life for Farmington and its residents. Brian is president-elect for the Rotary Club of Farmington, and has served on the Farmington Library Board of Trustees, the Parish Council of St. Patrick Church and as Deputy Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus’ Rev. M. Ernest Wilson Council 20. Brian has spent 35 years in broadcast and corporate media production, advertising and business-to-business marketing. He was co-owner of Northern Lights Communications, Inc., a video production company in Bristol, CT serving the media needs of east coast corporations and the content production needs of ESPN. Brian is currently working with LiveWell as Director of Marketing and Community Engagement.

Sarah Healey, Republican - First District

As a third generation Farmington resident, Sarah spent a lot of her childhood in Farmington with her grandparents who had built their forever home near Batterson Pond following WWII.  Sarah and her husband, John, later fulfilled their dream of moving to Farmington in 2013 and they now have two children who attend Noah Wallace School.  Professionally, Sarah earned her JD with honors from UCONN Law and her BA summa cum laude from Drew University.  She is a Partner at Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey, LLP, and focuses her practice on employment litigation.  She has served in several leadership capacities at her firm, most recently overseeing the recruitment for, and management of, their summer associate program.  Driven by a strong sense of civic duty and desire to help others, Sarah also volunteers her time representing children whose families are involved in abuse and neglect proceedings.  Prior to her election to the Farmington Town Council, Sarah served on the Farmington Board of Education for four years.

Amy Palumbo, Republican - Town Council Member

Amy is am a resident, parent, business owner, and volunteer in Unionville and Farmington. She has (2) children who are both in the medical field. In 2022, Amy retired from a 43-year career as a regulatory accounting analyst with Northeast Utilities/Eversource. Since 2005, she and her husband have owned and operated Farmington Jewelers in Unionville, where they've treasured the opportunity to build close relationships with so many of our fellow residents. Amy spent a decade as a member (and former President) of The Farmington Community Chest, Unionville Improvement Association and Dr. Dunne Medical Scholarship Committee. She enjoys working with anyone who shares a desire to strike the appropriate balance between low taxes, wonderful schools and the excellent services that we cherish – those things that brought many of us to this town and keep us here.
