The Historic District Commission is charged with promoting the educational, cultural, economic and general welfare of the Town through the preservation and protection of the distinctive characteristics of buildings and places of historic interest within an established historic district.  The Farmington Village Historic District was established in 1964.

Farmington Historic District Commission Review

Commissioners hope that the following will lead to greater efficiency and avoid uncertainty regarding the need for review. Please note that if your specific item does not fall under the Historic District Commission's purview, you may still need a building and/or zoning permit.
