The Farmington Valley Field Hockey League will generally consist of teams from Avon, Burlington, Canton, Farmington, Granby, and Simsbury.

Farmington Recreation will sponsor one 5-6th grade team.  Farmington residents entering grades 5 and 6 are eligible to play in Farmington.  Practices will be scheduled once during the week in the early evening hours, and home games will be held at Farmington High School on Sundays generally between the hours of 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. 

This is a Recreation League that requires travel to away games.  Each player is responsible for their own Field Hockey Stick, Cleats, Mouth Guard, Shin Guards, Eye Protection, etc.  A reversible game jersey will be provided.  The 5-6th grade team will play 8 v. 8 without a goalie.
