Notary public services are available in the Town Clerk's office during regular business hours. Notary public services are free of charge to Farmington residents; the fee for non-residents is $5.00. You must make a personal appearance and sign the document before the notary. You will be asked for 2 forms of identification one of which must be driver's license or a photo I.D. and the other form must contain your signature.

The Clerk's office will NOT notarize Wills, Living Wills and general Power of Attorney forms, nor do we notarize Vital Records or any Government issued document (ie. Passports/Drivers' Licenses).  Please call our office to inquire about which forms we do and do not notarize. Also call our office to inquire about acceptable forms of identification if you are unsure. 

For notaries registered in Farmington, signature verification is available for a $5.00 fee. Renewal certificates for notaries must be brought into our office personally. Your certificate must be signed and registered in our office. There is a $20.00 registration fee.
